About the Robin Hood Half Marathon

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. 

It is a great race for all abilities, whether you are a beginner challenging yourself to complete the course or a seasoned long distance runner looking to get a new personal best.

  • Email nottinghamfundraising@maggies.org to register your interest in getting a charity place and running for °ÄÃŲʿª½±.
  • Fundraise a minimum of £250 for °ÄÃŲʿª½± in the run up to the event. Our dedicated fundraising team at °ÄÃŲʿª½± Nottingham will offer you tips and ideas to help you reach your target.

  • There is no minimum fundraising target, but every pound you raise will make a difference in helping us continue to support people with cancer and their loved ones.

The route

The course is a single lap of 13.1 miles (21.1 km) and is a unique opportunity to run through the streets of Nottingham on closed roads.

The race starts and finishes in Victoria Embankment and takes you along the River Trent, past Nottingham Castle and through the Nottingham Park Estate and Wollaton Park.

The route and is undulating with a couple of inclines earlier on (at miles 2, 4 and 6).
